Dr Tony Prochazka MBBS (Melb) FACCSM (Med) FCPCA is one of Australia’s leading cosmetic doctors. He currently practises in Sydney and Melbourne, with a special interest in cosmetic breast and facial procedures – including breast augmentation, breast lift, male gynaecomastia, face and neck lift, eyelid reduction, and fat grafting procedures.
After completing his medical degree at the University of Melbourne, followed by advanced training in both general and cosmetic, Dr Prochazka was awarded Fellowship of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery and Medicine (ACCSM) in 2002. He was awarded Board Certification in Cosmetic Surgery by the International Board of Cosmetic Surgery in 2009.
Dr Prochazka is a Fellow of the Cosmetic Physicians College of Australasia (CPCA), a former Board Member of the Asian Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS), a former Vice-President of the Cosmetic Physicians Society of Australasia (CPSA) and former Secretary and Councillor of ACCSM. He was the inaugural Dean of the ACCSM Faculty of Medicine.
Dr Prochazka is in demand as a teacher and lecturer throughout Australia and overseas. He has given presentations at international conferences and workshops in Australia, New Zealand, the USA, South America, China, Korea, Malaysia and Singapore, on subjects as diverse as laser safety, facial thread lifting, breast augmentation and Asian facial aesthetics.
Dr Prochazka was the first Western cosmetic doctor to live and work in China, from 2007 to 2013. He is married to a Chinese wife and speaks conversational Mandarin. Dr Prochazka is also an accomplished cellist who has performed publicly on five continents.
